An Interview with our Vice President of Broker360
Stephen King has been with POWWR for a few months now, so we wanted to take the time to talk to him about his experience so far. We discuss his challenges, his desire to meet new and interesting people, and his love for an unusual sport…
What does your role primarily involve?
I oversee global enterprise software sales at POWWR. It’s my responsibility to motivate our salespeople and provide them with the support they need to grow the business. I am also an advocate for the Broker360, Risk360, and Sales360 tools. These products will transform the industry for energy suppliers and brokers by providing real-time competitive pricing, an integrated CRM, a tool to easily track payments and commissions, contract automation with digital signing, renewal management, custom branded price-to-compare websites and access to more energy suppliers. All of this ultimately enables our customers to win more profitable deals with less manual effort.
What is your experience in the industry?
I bring over 20 years of sales and energy management experience to this role. I have a vast network of industry professionals that I can connect with to cultivate new business for POWWR.
What is your favourite part of the job so far?

What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
I am planning to build on the success of the team in the United Kingdom by promoting the Broker360 application and increasing sales in the United States.
What are your biggest challenges in the job?
The biggest challenges are around building a new team and gaining customers in an uncertain economy. My reputation and industry knowledge will help me transform these challenges into successes.
How have you found starting a new job during lock-down?
I miss the opportunity to collaborate with my colleagues in person and meet with customers face-to-face. I am a firm believer in nurturing professional relationships by connecting personally whenever possible. I look forward to being able to continue these relationships whenever it is safe to do so.
What advice do you have to new starters in the industry?
